Encyclopaedic approach, but carefully designed for the web, with carefully parsed information, allowing for browsing or greater study. Clear and concise writing and references. Tiny icons may be difficult for some with visual impairments. Valuable Museum resources and news. Education and General Public orientation. Strengths on Tolerance teaching. ***** 5 star

    iOne of my favorite sites: Excellent for lower levels beginning holocaust study and up to level of scholar: This intensive and exhaustive site includes original documents, personal histories, careful well researched summaries and source material. Reasonably easy navigation. This is a first stop in research, or in the start of a new area. ***** 5 star

    includes teaching materials, resources, open public information; data oriented to general public. Photo Archives, Maps, Excellent presentation. Some navigation issues. Includes eyewitness testimonies, resources for grade school level children and sharing of art, poetry and prose. A good site for schools. Education program including most major topics ***** 5 star

    includes one of the best and more complete web resources on detailed accounts of concentration camps and life and death in the camps. Carefully chosen photographs enhance this mini-"Encyclopedia" of the Killing Centers. Great for General Public, Scholars beginning a search and High School reference.***** 5 star

  • Florida Holocaust Memorial Museum-

    This site is excellent not only for general information, but for cutting edge research on current topics and controversial issues such as corporate involvement in the US and other financial topics. Well written by a scholar acquainted first hand with source government documents.***** 5 star

  • Aish.com-

    includes teaching materials, resources, and more. This site has some unique features which will aid in teaching even in Churches, Synagogues and the classroom. Their "Why the Jews" section is one of the best online approaches to tolerance education, dispelling commonly held destructive myths. They also include a very interesting timeline of News Paper headlines and events during the Shoah, and in addition to current Jewish news topics, have a wonderful introduction to Jewish history in learning segments. Site has a constantly refreshed videocam on the Wailing Wall. ***** 5 star

    includes teaching materials, resources, open public and school information; has one of the best 'hands-on' 'alternative ending' games on the Shoah where students may choose careers and paths and make choices faced by those in the Shoah. Should be a part of every school approach to create tolerance and bring home moral complexity during catastrophe and genocide in a non-traumatizing method. ***** 5 star
