SS-Stürmbannführer Adolf Eichmann SS No. 45326
"I request the promotion of SS-Stürmbannführer Adolf Eichmann to
Oberstürmbannführer, effective November 9, 1941. I propose this promotion
on the strength of Eichmann's outstanding performance. As head of the
Central Office for Jewish Emigration, he has made an important
contribution to the de-Judification of the Ostmark. Thanks to Eichmann's
efforts, enormous amounts of money and property have been secured for the
German Reich. His work in the Protectorate, performed with unusual
initiative and the requisite hardness, was also excellent… At present
Eichmann is handling all questions concerning evacuation and resettlement.
Because of the importance of this work I regard Eichmann's promotion as
desirable in the interest of the service…" |
