Lt. General: WWI experience. Sought to "punch hole" in Russian Defensive. Ludendorff figured prominently in the "Beerhall Putsch" in 1923, the first major attempt at Nazi takeover, when he sought to persuade by force officials in Bavaria to join the march on Berlin.

Wanted to syntesize SA into a People's Army and Regular Army: 1934: Shot on 6-30-34 because he became dissatified with Hitler, considering him too 'moderate' and began on his own to build arms.
